Hive & Honey - A Perth County Signature Experience

Now a Perth County Signature Experience  and this is definitely not your ordinary honey tasting.

Hive & Honey is a two-hour guided experience that will completely change the way you think about honey. You’re not just tasting it, you’re learning about the honey, the bees behind it, and why this incredible little ingredient has earned the name “liquid gold.”

You’ll work your way through 6 different honeys, paired with 6 unexpected food pairings and 6 drinks. You’ll smell the honey, warm it, taste it, compare it and start picking up flavours and aromas you probably never realized were there.

Along the way, you’ll learn how bees make honey, why one honey can taste completely different from another, how where and what bees forage changes what ends up in your jar, and just how much work goes into producing honey.

You’ll use a Honey Tasting Scorecard and Honey Tasting Reference Sheet throughout…
